Modest Mouse... and Summer Nights concerts...
Modest Mouse added new tourdates this week. Guess where they are playing? Billings, MT at the Shrine Auditorium! May 30th. Tickets go on sale to public April 23rd.
This group is cool. They're one of my favorite bands right now. I "accidentally featured" a clip of one of their songs called "Lives" in my Local Progression Riders Video. It goes "...everyones afraid of their own lives..." (as camera panned past back of someone's truck during section of trail building footage...).
If we were in Billings... I'd be buying tickets April 23rd for sure! You can get tickets here or just check out info about Modest Mouse here.

On the concert note... Erika and Hunter invited us up to go to some of the "Summer Nights" Music Fest concerts this summer up in Washington. We got tickets for a few concerts before they officially went on sale. Whoo hoo! We're going to Lyle Lovett in June and Aimee Mann in August, plus some other group but I don't remember right now. The venue is outdoors on south waterfront park of Lake Union (near Seattle). They usually have these concerts on Pier 62/63 in Seattle, but relocated this year due to construction/restoration of pier. We were in Seattle last year (or maybe it was the year before?) when they had these concerts going on... Looked like fun. Glad we're going this year!
